Director — Yi Xiong

Yi Xiong is a Chinese filmmaker based in New York and Shanghai. His short film A Tortoise’s Year of Fate has been selected for prestigious festivals including Locarno International Film Festival, Pingyao International Film Festival and Zagreb Film Festival. He is currently pursuing his MFA in directing at Columbia University. His films often grow out of quiet observations of people and places, with a focus on memory, dreams and human connection.
